With her delicate vocal and whimsical self-produced tracks, K-indie solo artist eero (이로) is blazing her trail in the music space. In July 2024, the singer just released her debut EP Inner Search. The EP is supported by its title track, the youthful summer tune 20 Again. The song and music video evoke the freshness of a summer vacation and the heart-fluttering feeling of being 20 again.
Prior to her official debut, eero shared her music on SoundCloud. Her self produced songs showcase her distinctive wispy voice that perfectly suits her lo-fi, mid-tempo chill pop. A self-described R&B and soul musician, eero’s sound belongs to the specific K-indie scene that includes artists such as heize, Cheeze and BOL4. In other words, it’s female-led bubblegum pop with a touch of youthful nostalgia and sweet romanticism. You can almost imagine her songs being the soundtrack to K-drama rom coms.
